Chapter 2

The call for help

It had been about a month since the interview with Jennifer happened, but as she was enjoying her peaceful break from work she heard a cry for help in her mind while sleeping "Mother! Mother! Jennifer my mother! It's me your daughter the queen! My people on Embry-5 are under attack from invaders! Please mother help us!!!" after that Jennifer woke up and she checked in with Rob to see what was going on.

"I don't know how this is possible given the distance........but it appears Mrs. Blair that the queen you gave birth to about two years ago has sent you a telepathic message." Rob the ship A.I explained to Jennifer. "The queen....is calling me?" Jennifer said in some disbelief as well as a feeling she couldn't describe. "Yes Mrs. Blair, the queen from what my scans on your mind have told me is in danger from invaders.......since we discovered her species we should make sure no harm comes to them as a whole and that they don't suffer from extinction" Rob said, since Rob acted like a partner to Jenna and Makia he had made several robot bodies for himself and he tried to become more human like to paint where he had an android body that felt and looked human but he ultimately was still an A.I. "I see you're building yourself a body?" Jennifer asked "Yes Mrs. Blair, although it will be a while for my humanoid android body would be completed." Jennifer smiled and told Rob "I'll help you finish your body, whatever makes you happy,  A.I.s deserve to be happy too." "Thank you Mrs. Blair, I'm glad you understand." Rob said.

"And Rob, assemble the crew and our old Space Marine friends, we're going back to Embry-5!" Jennifer said after a long moment of thinking. Within a day Barbara who was now a general, Lt. Heather and captain Makia gathered with Jennifer's crew. "Alright everyone listen up and listen good, I usually don't ask to much especially since our discovery of Embry-5 but I need all of you to help me on a mission to return to Embry-5!" Jennifer said. "Why are we going back there?" Barbara asked. "Because, I received a message from the queen I gave birth to, her people are being invaded by something evil and they need our help, I know how most of you feel since we had to leave the...kittens who grew up behind but, we have to go back because it's just not right for us to allow a peaceful race to die when we can do something about it" Jennifer said.

Her words seemed to move her crew and the Space Marines, but ultimately only a few members of her crew decided to go with her and she got some Space Marines to help. As far as named and important personal went the crew was made up of Jennifer Blair, her husband Ben Thomas, Barbara Allyson and married partner Heather Adrian, Rose Garcia and her husband George Malcolm, Sofia Carter and her husband Ernie Verde, Makia Smith and her sister Kisha Smith, Jenna Asha and Lamar Johnson and about a dozen Space Marines.

Lamar was a new Space Marine who was excited when he heard about the dangers that General Barbara and her surviving team endured, he also was starting to feel something for a lovely woman he often guarded while out on missions. This woman's name is Kisha Smith who is a scientist, unlike Makia, Kisha is laid back and easy going and she personally thought it was a fun experience for Makia when she had the alien kittens, she fantasized a bit on what it might be like and she'd get her wish sooner then she though. Lamar approaches Kisha, "So what brings you to this mission?" Lamar asked, "I wanted to have the same experience my sister did, I just can't wait!" Kisha smiled with enthusiasm. "Really well in that cas...." Lamar was interrupted by Makia "In your dreams, if you ever get near my sister again, I bet you can walk without any legs." Makia said as she walks with Kisha to the ship, Kisha smiles and waves to Lamar, his eye were wide open fearing Makia, "Damn and I thought I was the tough one." Lamar said.

"Jennifer! Are you alright?" Ben asked his wife after they got the ship ready. "I'm fine Ben it's just, the queen called me after all these years, I just have a feeling we must get to her fast." Jennifer said. "I understand, I personally feel like her father and although I didn't have as strong a bound with her as you did, I just." Ben wasn't sure what to say but his wife gave him a kiss. "Whatever happens, I'll always love you and I'm sure she'll love us to." Jennifer said as she and Ben embraced each other while Rob took care of everything else. Thanks to new technology the team was able to make it to Embry-5 within three days and they wondered what awaited them on the planet.
